CultSwitch is Premier Partner of Booking.com

Berlin, June 13, 2019 – CultSwitch, the innovative channel management provider for hotels, again achieved top positions in all categories in Booking.com’s current partner ranking and ranks in the top third of the “Premier Partner” segment. Among 668 partners worldwide, CultSwitch currently ranks 35th, in the “Property Performance” segment even 4th. Of the 46 top partners with “Premier” status, CultSwitch ranks 16th.
Booking a hotel room on Booking.com is easy: enter dates and desired destination, view available offers, make your selection, done. However, complex processes run in the background: The Booking.com platform must constantly communicate with the various hosts’ hotel management systems (PMS) so that the portal can display free rooms and current conditions. And every successful room booking must be updated immediately in the PMS to eliminate overbooking.
Almost 700 so-called connectivity partners of Booking.com ensure the automatic communication of the hotel systems with the platform. Booking.com continuously evaluates connection performance, service and quality as part of its “Connectivity Partner Program” in order to be able to reliably offer the best possible service for connected hotels. The partners receive the status “Standard”, “Advanced” or “Premier” according to the points they score. Only those connectivity providers who are able to offer the best customer development, the most advanced systems, the broadest range of interface functions and the highest connection quality are awarded Premier Partner status by Booking.com.
Of all 668 connectivity partners worldwide in the first quarter of 2019, CultSwitch ranked 42nd in “Business Value” (volume and development of customer base and overnight stays sold), 4th in “Property Performance” (optimization of offers and conditions to increase sales), 20th in “Products & Quality” (technical quality, especially connection to various Booking.com interface options with which customers can manage their hotel offerings online) and 9th in “Engagement” (active cooperation).
“We do everything we can to offer our customers technically first-class interfaces and outstanding personalized service,” comments Robert Reinsch, Head of Customer Care and Partner Management at CultSwitch. “Our excellent results in Booking.com’s Connectivity Partner Program confirm that we are on the right track. Booking.com is the most important online sales channel for many hotels. Like us, the platform has an interest in the hotels being successful. The partner program helps to identify weaknesses and improvement potentials and to better serve our mutual customers”.
